How to stop bullying?
You may have to try a few things to stop bullying. Some ways to try and stop bullying may be:
- Ignoring the bully
- Telling a trusted adult, peer, or coworker
- Having an open conversation with the bully if it feels safe
Can adults be bullied?
Bullying can happen in any setting, regardless of someone’s age – including adults. For adults, bullying might look like:
- Spreading malicious or false rumors about someone
- Forming alliances against someone by painting a negative picture of them
- Being blatantly rude or disrespectful to someone in a professional setting
- Excluding
- Mocking

- Increased feelings of sadness and loneliness
